Indoor cycling refers to training using a stationary indoor bike. Spinning, on the other hand, refers to a unique indoor cycling program offered by Mad Dogg Athletics Inc. Spin cycling, Spinning, and Spin classes are used interchangeably when referring to the same training program.
Spinning describes an indoor cycling workout program held in a studio. This workout uses a large and heavy bike that is not meant to be moved. Led by an instructor who guides regular classes, Spinning focuses on getting a full-body workout, heart rate training, and resistance-based intervals.
Spinning is also a great way to socialize. Being around a group of people who pursue the same Spin workout motivates a person to stay with the program. The instructor also tracks a person’s progress, helping to keep them motivated as they boost their fitness level.
